Our Volunteers
We are grateful for our volunteers, men and women, boys and girls who have contributed greatly to our ministry.
Whatever the ministry, volunteers are a part of the team, many serving faithfully for a number of years.
Without our volunteers, we would not be able to accomplish as much as we have. We praise God for them.

Volunteering
JCEF serves the local churches of Jamaica
by:
Training Good News Club® and Sunday school teachers through :
- Teaching Children EffectivelyTM Courses Levels
1 & 2 - Two thirty-
hour courses held once a week for twelve to sixteen weeks.
- Church related seminars - on Saturdays and week nights. These meet the needs of the particular church.
- Christian Youth In ActionTM (CYIA) - This course
occurs all day for a week and trains Secondary and High
School students to conduct 5-Day Clubs® in the summer.
Reaching un-evangelized children:
- Through Rallies, Good News Clubs® and Open Air Evangelism - children, who would not normally attend Sunday school, are reached.
Challenging church members to active service:
- A wide field of Christian service is open to Christians who may serve
as teachers, rally leaders, prayer partners, committee members, camp
counselors, project helpers, etc.
Channeling children into Sunday school:
- JCEF can be a partner of the local church because through its outreach
programmes, many children are channelled into Sunday schools.
Here is how you can share in this work: As a Pastor:
- Arrange with CEF to hold a CEF Day in your church to inform
the members of CEF ministries.
- Encourage your members to attend courses being offered in your area
by CEF.
- Enlarge your outreach programme by conducting
church-sponsored Good News Clubs®.
As a Church Member Become:
- Involved in winning children to Jesus as a Good
News Club® or Sunday
school teacher.
- A monthly donor to assist JCEF in winning children to Jesus.
- A prayer partner of JCEF.
- A sponsor of JCEF.
- An office volunteer.
