The annual National Bible Quiz was held at Bethany Gospel Hall in Kingston
on November 26th 2006. Although there were not many contestants, it proved
to be a very enjoyable day for all those who had travelled from St. Elizabeth,
Trelawnly and Clarendon. We also had representatives from Kingston.
The winner of the National Cup went to Beersheba Good News Club which is
a school Club in St. Elizabeth. We thank the Lord for the teacher who came
all the way with her three participating students. How rewarding for her
that her girls won. Coming close behind were children from the May Pen
(Clarendon) Miracle Temple Church.
Each participant received donated gifts including their teachers.
It was a day of fun, enjoyed by all. Uncle Barry gave a short talk on
the importance of the Bible. We trust the children understood that it
was not just winning but having studied the Bible passages, they would
have gained much.
